Question: How do I create a request for additional technology or technical assistance for my event or class?

  • I would like to request additional technology hardware such as computer carts, microphones/speakers, projectors/projector screens, or video cameras/tripods.
  • I would like to request in-person assistance from an OIT technician (event assistance is reviewed on a case-by-case basis).

Answer: Staff and Faculty can request additional technology to be delivered to their class or event.

  • Requests for additional technology can be created in the Service Portal.
  • A technician will review your request for additional technology or technical assistance.
  • A technician might contact you for additional information about your request.
  • For Requests with less than 8 hours of lead-time, please contact the Service Desk at 763-433-1510.
  1. Navigate to the Service Portal.
  2. Click "Sign in" on the top right-hand side of the page.

  1. Sign in with your Microsoft credentials.
  • Minnstate O365 Employee Login:
    • StarID@minnstate.edu
    • StarID password
  •  
  1. From the services.anokaramsey.edu main page, choose "Submit a Request".
  •  
  1.  Click "Campus and Classroom Technology Support".
  1. From the "Campus and Classroom Technology Support" page, click "Campus and Classroom Technology Request".
  1. Read the Event Support Request "Overview" and "Benefits" sections.
  2. When you are ready to request your technology items, click, "Request Tech Support".
  1. Fill out the Campus and Classroom Technology Request form.
  2. Click "Request".
  • Note: Some of your information will already be filled out in the form.
