How do I install Zoom desktop client and Zoom mobile app?
There are two convenient options to download Zoom client for meetings.
Install client from Zoom Download Center
From a Zoom meeting invite, download and run Zoom

Option 1: Install Client from Zoom Download Center
Browse to the
Zoom Download Center
Select Download under Zoom Client for Meetings
Click the downloaded installer file
Zoom Meeting Tips:
Before you join a Zoom meeting log in to Zoom
https://minnstate.zoom.us
using your StarID credentials.
This will allow you to quickly join meetings that have been set to require authentication for meeting participants.
If you do not sign in with SSO, you will be named as
Guest
as your display name, and you may not be recognized by the meeting host or co-host.
Option 2: Download and Run Zoom from a Zoom Meeting
Via the Minnesota State Zoom login page
https://minnstate.zoom.us
, log in to Zoom using your StarID credentials.
Click on the meeting link provided to you by the meeting organizer.
The client install will automatically download, follow screen prompts to install.
If it doesn't automatically download, click the download & run Zoom link, follow screen prompts to install

Install Zoom on your Phone or Tablet
Search for the
Zoom Cloud Meeting
from the
Apple App Store
or
Google Play
and install the application on your device. There are several Zoom related applications. You will want to ensure you select the Zoom Cloud Meeting app.
