VDI - Opening a Shared File

How do I open a shared file using virtual desktop (VDI)?

• Navigate to Anokatech.edu and click email.
  • Can use office.com as well and click sign in

• Sign in using your credentials.
  • Username: StarID@go.minnstate.edu
  • Password: StarID password

• Complete the MFA verification step

• Locate the shared file and click open.

• You are then prompted with the open or Download option
• Click Open

• Find your file, click on it, then click the ellipsis (three dots) and select "Download."

• You have two options for opening the downloaded file.
  • Click the download icon in the top right corner of the browser, then select and open the file.
  • Alternatively, open the downloaded file using File Explorer.
