What is Gradescope?

Gradescope is a tool designed to streamline the grading process for instructors.  It allows for the submission, grading, and analysis of various types of assignments, including exams, homework, and coding projects.  Gradescope helps instructors save time on grading and provide consistent, meaningful and detailed feedback to students.  Key features include:

  • Printed bubble sheet grading:  Create multiple-choice answer key for the automatic grading of student submissions as they are uploaded.
  • AI-assisted grading: Automatically group similar answers for faster grading.
  • Detailed analytics: Gain insights into student performance with per-question and per-rubric statistics.
