D2L: Copy Assignments

“I created a D2L assignment and want to use it in my other courses. Can I copy an assignment from one course to another?”

“I created a D2L assignment and want to use it in my other courses.  Can I copy an assignment from one course to another?”

You can copy an assignment to as many as 10 courses at one time.

1. Click Assessments.
2. Click Assignments.
3. Click the down arrow next to the assignment.
4. Click Copy to Other Courses.
   
   
5. You can narrow down your search to a particular Semester.  You can search and copy up to 10 courses at one time.  When copying to other courses, you can choose to include a Rubric and Grade Item attached to the current assignment.  When you select your searched course, you will notice that the Choose Destination counter increases to 1/10.  You can now search for another course, select it, and the counter increases to 2/10.  Note, Turnitin is not an option to get copied over.

 

 

6. When done selecting all courses you want to copy your assignment to, click Next.
7. Verify everything is correct and click Copy.
8. The final screen will show Copy Complete next to each course.  Click Done.
