Do I need a different MFA setup if I already have MFA setup for Office 365?

  • No, you do not need to change your authentication options or process for Experience.

What changes do I need to make with my Perceptive Content application on my computer?

What if I do not have MFA setup for Office 365?

  • All ARCC and ATC Staff, Faculty, Students, and Contract Employees have been configured to use MFA to access Microsoft/Office 365 programs.
  • If you have not accessed a Microsoft 365 program like Outlook since November 1, 2021, please follow the step-by-step instructions to setup MFA.

Do I have to repeat the steps every time I log into Perceptive Content client version?

  • No, you only need to do this once on a computer.
  • If you are using Perceptive Content on more than one computer, you will need to repeat the configuration process for each computer.

       If I log out or client times out do I need to re-authenticate again?

  • When you logout (Perceptive Content client or computer) or login times out you will need to re-authenticate, unfortunately there is no way around it.
  • Experience you can just reconnect.

       What is the time out for Perceptive Content Client and Experience?

  • Timeout for Client is currently 75 minutes.
  • Timeout for Experience is 30 minutes.

Do I need to follow the steps if I am using AR-SLATE to access Perceptive Content?

  • Yes, you will need to authenticate your Perceptive Content connection, regardless of how you access Perceptive Content.
