- I would like to share a Zoom recording to D2L Brightspace. How can I use Kaltura MediaSpace to achieve this?
Answer: Yes. Zoom recordings can be shared to D2L via a Kaltura MediaSpace link.
- Record Zoom video in the cloud.
- Start at https://minnstate.zoom.us/.
- Sign in with StarID and password.
- Host a meeting.
- Record to the cloud.
- Record your session.
- Stop recording.
- Close the Zoom meeting.
- Receive an email that the recording is processed (and completed).
- Change default settings in MediaSpace.
- Start at https://mediaspace.minnstate.edu.
- Sign in with StarID and password.
- Locate the video.
- Edit the video (click on the pencil in upper right corner to edit).
- Go to DETAILS (below the video) and change the name of the video (if desired).
- Press Save.
- Go to PUBLISH (below the video) and change from “private” to “unlisted”.
- Press Save.
- Scroll to the top of the page and click on “< Back to Media Page”.
- Go to SHARE (below the video) and copy the link under option “Link to Media Page”.
- Submit the D2L assignment with a video link.
Method 1.
- Go to the assignments submission page and paste the video link (2J) into a submission’s text entry.
Method 2.
- Open Word and create new document and paste the video link (2J) into the blank document.
- Save the file.
- Upload the file (with the saved link) into your submission page.
