D2L: Changing the Text in the Course Banner

Question: Can I change the text on my D2L course banner?

Answer: Yes.  The banner text can be changed in "Banner Settings".

1. Open your course. 
2. Move your mouse over the course banner.  The Banner Settings (blue button) will appear in the upper right corner of the banner. 
3. Click the blue button. 
4. Click Customize Banner Text. 
   • You can choose to keep the course title (Org Unit Name). 
   • You can choose Custom to customize the text. 
   • You can choose None to remove the text.
