What is Immersive Reader in Office 365?

Immersive Reader is a free Microsoft learning tool that improves reading and writing.

• This tool is available in Office 365 (Word Online, OneNote Online, Outlook Online) and Microsoft Edge web browser. 

• Immersive Reader reads text out loud – breaks text into syllables and shows parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs). 

• You can change the font, increase text size, set spacing, set reading speed, choose the line focus that shows a horizontal window that moves with the lines being read.

• Also, the Picture Dictionary allows a user to click on a word to see a related picture.
