Adobe Creative Cloud Installation for Staff & Faculty College Owned Devices

How to get Adobe products installed on my college-owned device?
- Acrobat Pro is listed in Creative Cloud as Acrobat; it is named differently in the Cloud.
- Many other apps are available (ie., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, etc...)
- Adobe Creative Cloud is available for your college-owned device in Software Center
- Once the authorization has been granted, you are free to begin the installation with the instructions below.
- IMPORTANT: If you have an version of Acrobat Reader, you must uninstall the Reader first. (Service Desk can assist)
- IMPORTANT: If you have an older version of Acrobat Pro or Creative cloud, make sure you log out of it first.
- Close ALL Microsoft products before installing Adobe products.
- Outlook
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- Word
- Sign OUT of Microsoft Teams before installing
- If working from home, connect to VPN before the next step
- If you do not have VPN, please contact the service desk for installation.
- Type in software center in the start menu on the device and click on it.
- Under Applications, find Adobe – Creative Cloud Desktop App and click on it.
- Click on Install and follow the prompts.




- Once installed, open the icon that looks the same as above and sign in.
- Use your school email (@anokaramsey.edu or @anokatech.edu) and click continue.

- If prompted, select Company or School account

- Enter your StarId and password

- The next page will say Welcome to your account.
- Click on: View plan details or Access your apps and services.

- Included applications and service will now appear.
- Click on the download button to view the available apps to install
- Click on Install to begin dowloading apps needed.

- The image above is a small sample of apps available but not all.
- Creative Cloud will check the system for already installed apps. A popup notification may give information to follow if there are already older Creative Cloud apps installed.
- Please follow any directions received.
- Adobe discourages downloading more apps than needed. Creative Cloud takes up a lot of space on a device.
- To use any of the apps installed on your device, open the Creative Cloud Desktop Icon on your desktop.
- If at any time an Adobe product needs to be signed into again, follow directions listed above to sign in.
