How to send emails through the D2L Brightspace class list

This article describes how to send an email to an individual student, a group of students, or the entire class through D2L

How can an instructor email a student, a group of students, or the entire class through D2L

• Log in to D2L Brightspace
• From the "Communications" drop down menu, select "Class List"
  • To email the entire class, click the "Email Class List" button
  • To email an individual student, click on the student's name, fill out the email dialog box, and click "Send"
  • To email several students, check the box to the left of the student's names, click the blue "Email" button located above the check box column, fill out the email dialog box, and click "Send"
