What is an academic warning?

Question: What is an academic warning?

Answer:

A student will be placed on warning if their cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) falls below a 2.0 and/or their cumulative course completion rate falls below a 66.67%. Completion rate is how many credits you have completed divided by how many credits you have attempted.

A student on warning remains eligible to enroll and receive financial aid. No appeal is necessary for this status.

If a student falls below the standards of 2.0 cumulative GPA and 66.67% cumulative earned completed rate two consecutive semesters they will be placed on Academic Suspension, which will remove financial aid eligibility and prevent registration for future courses until successfully appealed.
