• What username do I use to sign into different college services and software? 

Answer:

College Services
Sign in with your StarID (ab1234cd) & StarID password

• Open Computer Lab Sign-in – Computers in classrooms or laptop cart computers.
• College-based scholarship pages – Complete the applications within 30 minutes. No save and continue options.
• D2L – ARCC and ATC D2L sites require StarID to sign in. CE/CT D2L may have a different sign in that is not the StarID.
• eServices – Access all things related to enrollment and demographics. Find your TechID in upper right corner of eServices page.
• Examplify – Testing application used by ARCC Nursing and ARCC PTA students.
• StarID Portal – Change your password, set default college and notification accounts
• Zoom – Use SSO option when accessing Zoom via https://zoom.us OR use the correct Minnstate Zoom link à https://minnstate.zoom.us.

• Azure Dev Tools for Teaching – access to developer applications and tools.
• Eduroam (WIFI) – secure, worldwide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.
  • Eduroam – MinnState credentials
  • Employee (only)– StarID credentials
  • Anoka-Guest – no credentials, but need web browser to accept user/usage policy
• FlipGrid – video discussion and sharing app offered through Microsoft.
• Microsoft 365 – including MFA Activation, Office/Microsoft 365 includes applications for both Mac/Apple and Windows/PC - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Email/Username – username to sign into email is your MinnState Credentials
  • Student College email address – first.last@my.anokatech.edu or first.last@my.anokaramsey.edu
  • Employee college email address – first.last@anokatech.edu or first.last@anokaramsey.edu
  • Some students & employees have older naming conventions. Go to StarID Portal to update your college email address.
• OIT Service Portal – Technology Services with Knowledge Based articles (KBs) and Services.

Extra Tools and Information

• Long Distance Codes - Employees only - TechID + 1
• Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Employees – sign in with college email (@anokatech.edu or @anokaramsey.edu) and then authenticate with StarID and StarID password.
  • Students – Must be enrolled in Visual Arts class to access Adobe Creative Cloud – sign in with college email (@my.anokaramsey.edu) and then authenticate with StarID and StarID password.
• Default college email
  • Student college email address – first.last@my.anokatech.edu or first.last@my.anokaramsey.edu
  • Employee college email address – first.last@anokatech.edu or first.last@anokaramsey.edu
  • Use StarID Portal to change the default college email, if you attended multiple MinnState institutions
