What is included in general education?
General education (also commonly referred to as the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum or MnTC) includes courses in these ten goal areas:
Communications, critical thinking, natural sciences, mathematical/logical reasoning, history and social and behavioral sciences, humanities and fine arts, human diversity, global perspective, ethical and civic responsibility, and people and the environment.
