How do I register for a class that requires permission?
Some courses require permission from an instructor to register. These courses are restricted to students who have met specific requirements. You can see the special notes for a class by clicking on the class name link in the course schedule.
Contact the course's instructor to see if they will give you permission to register. If granted permission, the instructor will need your Tech ID/student ID to enter edit code 12 (permission to register) for the specific course. You will then be able to register through your eServices account after the instructor has entered the permission.
You can see when the instructor has entered the permission by viewing the registration log in eServices under Courses & Registration>Registration Log.
