Repeated courses

How do repeated courses impact my academic record?

Students may repeat courses in an effort to improve their grades. The final grade earned in the repeated course will be the only grade for that course that is included in GPA calculations. However, all courses and grades earned will be reflected on the transcript. All repeated courses count in the percentage of completion, so excessive use of course repeats may place a student on academic and/or financial aid warning and suspension.

Students are allowed to repeat a course one time. If the course is not successfully completed on the second attempt, students are required to appeal by completing an Academic Petition found here.
