Question: Do students have to pay money to print on campus?

• I'm a student who would like to print on campus.  How much does this cost?

Answer: Printing on campus is free.

• Printing is paid for by student technology fees at the beginning of each semester.
• Each student is portioned $30 in print funds per semester.
• Single-sided printing costs $.06 and double-sided printing costs $.12.
• If you run out of print funds, please contact a technician at the Office of Information Technology service desk and they will refill your account with another $30.
• There is no charge for this service.

Summary:

Although Anoka-Ramsey Community College does disperse print funds in dollar amounts at regular intervals and upon request, these funds do not cost you any money out of pocket.  These funds are merely a check against runaway printing and help keep our tech fees low.  You will never be charged money for print funds when your account is automatically filled each semester or if you need to request additional funds.  These funds are for accounting purposes only.
