Shared Folder Definition:
- A shared folder is a network folder that is available to multiple computers and users of the ARCC and Anoka Tech network.
Steps to access a Shared Folder:
- Click the File Explorer icon (folder icon) on your taskbar.
- When the new window opens, double-click the appropriate network drive (H: S: U: etc.).
- Double-click the shared folder you wish to access. You may have one or more shared folders depending on your access.
Steps to Create a Shortcut:
- Click the File Explorer icon (folder icon) on your taskbar.
- When the new window opens up, double-click the appropriate network drive.
- Right-click on the appropriate folder and select Create Shortcut.
Access a Shared Folder Off-Campus:
- To access a network folder from off-campus from a college owned laptop, connect the laptop to the college VPN
- To access a network folder from off-campus with a non-university laptop, perform the following steps.
- Browse to files.anokaramsey.edu or vpn.anokatech.edu
- Log in with your StarID and StarID password
