Question:

  • How can I connect to VPN on my Windows device? 

Answer, 

You can connect to VPN using Cisco AnyConnect on your Windows-based college device.  If you do not have Cisco AnyConnect, please check "Software Center" to install the software. 

  • To connect please click on the Cisco AnyConnect desktop icon, or type Cisco AnyConnect into the search bar and click Cisco AnyConnect when it appears

  • When the Cisco AnyConnect dialog box appears Anoka VPN should appear.  If not select it from the dropdown box.
    • If Anoka VPN is not available, you will need to enter the VPN addresses manually.
      • ARCC: files.anokaramsey.edu
      • ATC: vpn.anokatech.edu
  • Click “Connect”

  • Once connected you will be prompted to enter your credentials.  You may see either box depending on your home campus.
    • Username: StarID
    • Password: StarID Password
  • Click “OK”

  • You will receive a dialog box stating you are connected.  You can also check by clicking the show hidden icons button on the task bar at the right side of the screen.
